In the month of Sept one centre each at Bhuban and Parjanga are opened to cater to the need of the people with eye problem but cannot afford to come down to the hospital by incurring a days wage loss. These centers cover a stipulated geographical area where by medical team consisting one doctor, one paramedic, one ophthalmic assistant, and one counselor would attend the camps on a fixed date. The date would be displayed on a displaying board in advance. “14 such centers will be established in near future” Says Sunil Mishra Hospital Manager, KEHRC.
