"Today, 135 million of World's population are visually impaired and 85 million of them are sightless. Largest portion of such population are in India . In every five minutes, one more person goes blind. But most importantly, 80% of the sightless are due to cataract only, which is treatable and curable. In Orissa, the health care services are very poor and most of relevant infrastructures are concentrated in coastal Orissa only."

KEHRC has been asocited with no of International association, networks, donor organisations. Every month volunteers, resource persons, visiting surgeons come to KEHRC to contribute significantly to its vision and mission.

 
 

The blindness is a cruel curse . But this is not hard to believe that people get a chance to restor their eye sight and lead a happy and contended life ever after.
