The KEHRC is located in the Dhenkanal Itself. In order to avoid unnecessary delay in transportation of goods and patients to hospitals it has been strategically located in such a place that it is accessible to the patients easily and its strategic location (far from the hustles and bustles of city life) ensures a peaceful environment to the patients.

Dhenkanal is well connected both by motorable road and railways a like providing accession to the central hinterland and coastal lands a like. The national highway no 42 Passes through this town. This town is well connected to industrial belts of Talcher and Anugul, oldest city of Orissa Cuttack as well as the modern provincial capital Bhubaneswar.

It’s a two hour drive from Bhubaneswar. Similarly the railways link Dhenkanal with Sambalpur and Bhubaneswar. Regular passenger trains ply between these Sambalpur, Puri, Cuttack and Dhenkanal. Those who come by bus should alight at Dhenkanal bus stand and then can reach KEHRC either by rickshaw and auto which is just one and half km away from here. If one wants to travel by train he or she can reach at Dhenkanal station or Samsarapur PH and they can reach the hospital by auto and rickshaw. The hospital is 3km and 5 km respectively from these two stoppages.
