In the year Jan -Dec 2006 KEHRC has conducted 4427 eye surgeries in the districts of Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Angul, Sambalpur and Jagatsighpur. Out of these4156 were free of cost. Of all these surgeries, 3321 surgeries were supported by ORBIS international, DIK Germany, and Unite for Sight. We are almost close to the last years achievements and more importantly this year we have conducted 135 no of surgeries out of the fund of the KEHRC. We are thankful to our partners. For the year 2007 we have also set up similar target of conducting 5000 cataract surgeries, 500 paid surgeries as well as 50 pediatric cases we are hopeful that the commitment of the man power as well networking with the international organizations will see us through. |
