KEHRC is committed for providing one-stop eye care services to the community. To meet a part of this commitment, the hospital has opened a Medicine Store and Optical Service Centre close to by the hospital campus for providing cost effective as well as quality medicines, lenses and spectacles to its patients.

All types of quality eye care medicines, along with medicines for other diseases are are available in this medicine shop. The Optical Service Centre is dispensing of Single Vision Lenses, Bifocal Lenses and Progressive Addition Lenses, frames, reading glasses and high index lenses for higher powers. Experienced and Trained Optometrists are engaged to provide quality services to the patients.

In addition to out-reach patient care, the out Patient Department and Surgical Services is the backbone of the Hospital. The Hospital’s primary source of income is the OPD services. The Out-Patients’ Department provides diagnostic and treatment services from 8 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 5 pm, everyday. It is open to all section of the society and the community members are provided non-discriminatory services at a very nominal fee.

On an average 35-40 patients visit the OPD section, daily. The O.P.D. section is fully equipped with all modern equipments and facilities. Trained paramedics, along with experienced doctors provided the OPD services. The patients are given surgical services at the Hospital. Complicated cases are referred to higher hospital for treatments.
